Heath Week 2025: Heathland Hunt

Heathland Hunt Starting at Joneys Cross car park, follow our heathland hunt on Aylesbeare common, finding out on route about the wildlife, geology and history of this magnificent landscape! No need to book, just ask RSPB staff at Festival Day for more information or available via the QR code on site at the main entrance throughout the week. Dress for the weather, sturdy footwear recommended. Dogs on leads welcome. Please be aware there are no toilets or refreshments available on site. This event is not wheelchair and pushchair accessible and will involve walking across rough uneven terrain.   This event is organised as part of Heath Week 2025. Heath Week celebrates our heathland heritage with a week of events reflecting the ecology, history and recreational importance of the East Devon Pebblebed Heaths.
