This much-loved start to Heath Week is back — with a fresh new format and location!
Drop into Model Airfield between 10am and 3pm to join the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust and a wide range of partners for an action-packed day of engaging activities showcasing what makes the East Devon Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve such a special place for wildlife and for people.
Meet the teams who look after the East Devon’s heaths and others who work and play here. Learn about the habitats and species that live locally, explore the heaths rich cultural history and how you can get active in nature and play your part in taking care of countryside spaces.

- Parking: All regular carparks will be open for the event plus overflow options and there will be way-marked routes to get you to and from the event site. Drop-off for less mobile individuals is possible at Model Airfield car park. Otherwise, attendees should be prepared to walk on heathland paths from other car parks nearby (between 0.5-1.5 km walk each way). Parking will be busy so please consider car sharing where possible.
