Otter Valley Association: ‘Birdwatching Walk In The Otter Valley With The Ranger’

Led by the Otter Estuary Ranger, Rick Lockwood and assisted by Colin Randall, local resident, and Devon Birds member, join the OVA for a guided walk of the Otter Valley. This is a popular walk and we are limiting numbers to ensure everyone can enjoy the commentary. Booking opens Monday 20th January via email: walks@ova.org.uk.   • Location: Details will be given on confirmation of booking. 
Know before you go… What to bring:
  • Good shoes/boots for the Devon terrain (often muddy in places!)
  • A flask of tea or coffee, or your drink of choice – we always have a refreshment break
  • Waterproofs … just in case!
  • Warm clothing as there will be lots of stopping 
  • Any personal medication that you might need (walk leaders carry a first aid kit)
  • Your contact details written on an ‘in case of emergency’ card (ask us for a blank card if you need one)
