Heath Week 2026: Crafternoon

Crafternoon Come and get crafty with Pebblebed Heath Conservation Trust during our crafternoon and make something to take home! Why not make a day of it? Join us for crafts and bring a picnic to enjoy with friends and family on the Model Airfield and take in the views of the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve! Get involved with: – Willow weaving with Creative Journeys in Nature – Cardboard Bee sculptures and Creative Cabinet with the Thelma Hulbert Gallery – Nature inspired clay trinkets and sculptures with local artist Teresa Pardoe – Two family performances of ‘Flying with Strings’ by Sarah Vigars and Louis Bingham, followed by a craft workshop for families.

  Know before you go… Toilet facilities and limited refreshments will be available at Model Airfield for this event. Dress for the weather, sturdy footwear recommended for uneven terrain. Dogs on leads welcome. Tramper and pushchair accessible.   This event is organised as part of Heath Week 2026. Heath Week celebrates our heathland heritage with a week of events reflecting the ecology, history and recreational importance of the Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve.
