Heath Week 2024: Heathland Hunt

Heathland Hunt Starting at Joneys Cross car park, follow our heathland hunt on Aylesbeare common, finding out en route about the wildlife, geology and history of this magnificent landscape! Dress for the weather, sturdy footwear recommended. Dogs on leads welcome. This event is not wheelchair and pushchair accessible and will involve walking across rough uneven terrain.   This event is organised as part of Heath Week 2024. Heath Week celebrates our heathland heritage with a week of events reflecting the ecology, history and recreational importance of the East Devon Pebblebed Heaths.
