Alphabet Amble – A Beginners Guide To Heathland Botany (accessibility friendly) Join Dr Sam Bridgewater for a 1.5 hour guide to the heaths in an attempt to find plants starting with every letter of the alphabet. No prior knowledge of botany required. This short excursion will be a perfect introduction to the dry and wet habitats to be found on the heaths and the many plants they support. This event is specifically hosted for people with accessibility issues whether that be walking long-distances, wheelchair users or families with pushchairs, all are welcome!
