The town enjoys ‘Walkers are Welcome’ status and is keen to promote the walking opportunities in the area. Five daily walks cover the 40-mile route of the East Devon Way\, walking from west to east through East Devon National Landscapes. For these walks there is coach transport (£10 per day) from Sidmouth to take you to the start and collect you at the end of each day’s walk. \n\n\n\nAll the walks are led by experienced local walkers who enjoy sharing this wonderful area with our guests and are FREE of charge.
